Merry Christmas from the Middles!!

On Thursday and Friday we performed our Production of Lost in Dreamland, we did really well and were rewarded with iceblocks after our performance.
On Friday we had our prize giving after the final production, we all got our certificates and books. There were a couple of extra awards,  Leah-Marie got the mandarin award and Evie got the Middle Class diligence award.  Well done us!!!
We have spent the last few days getting organised for Christmas - school is finishing today for the Middles and our class is looking really empty and sad.

"Thank you Middles for being a super awesome class this year - I have loved teaching you all and being part of your learning! Have a great Christmas with your families and see you next year."
Mrs Bissett

Today we have created some Christmas creatures out of marshmallow sticks and twirly lollipops, the finished products looked amazing.

Som Sabadell flashmob - BANCO SABADELL

Today we watched an orchestral flash mob.  We had to just watch, and think about how we were feeling and about how the people, both in the crowd and in the orchestra were feeling.  After watching the video through a couple of times we drew, whatever it was that sprung to mind or had had the biggest impression on us while we watched.  We all thought it was pretty spectacular and would have loved to have been one of those lucky people in the crowd!

Here is the link to the video:

Tama's vist

Last week Tama and Tim from Otago Cricket came to teach us some cricket skills. We learnt catching, bowling and batting.
After learning some skills we played three bat cricket.

Good hit Zoe!

School Photos Today

Today at Warepa School we are having our school photos taken, first we had to put on our school polo tops so we all looked the same and tidy.
The teachers decided not to wear the polo tops!
We organised ourselves and had a whole school photo, then we had class photos, now poor Mrs McLeary is taking all the individual and family photos.
We are looking forward to seeing the finished photos!  Especially the funny class ones!!!

Thanks Mrs McLeary!

Term Four!!!

We have hit the ground running in the Middle Room!
Everyone came back to a slightly altered class with no seating rules, not even a teacher's desk!!! It's now a student workspace!
We are looking forward to a term of engaged and happy learners!
